  • Constipation and gas problem is common after delivery so avoid peas and gram.Instead take green gram and other cereals which are easy to digest and rich in protein too.
  • For one month after delivery, if you are breastfeeding then avoid cool food items like cucumber, pineapple. Instead eat warm foods like dry fruits, milk etc.
  • Don't take fried snacks and fizzy drink in excessive amount.
  • Don't eat too spicy food. Sometimes little spicy is fine to give all the flavors to you baby.
  • Limit caffeinated drink like tea or coffee. Don't take more than 2-3 cups in a day. Baby finds difficult to secrete caffeine and it leads to sleeplessness and irritation.

  2. 1- Alcohol in lactation
It has been shown that alcohol is detrimental to the development of the baby's brain. Its effect on the baby who is breastfed is related to the amount his mother drinks and the time he has drunk. The level of alcohol passes quickly into breast milk, especially between 30 and 60 minutes after drinking.

    2- Coffee in breastfeeding
According to Rocky Hill Dentist when the mother consumes caffeine, it appears rapidly in breast milk, especially at the hour or hour and a half of ingested. Caffeine, present in coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate, some medications, etc., can cause symptoms such as insomnia , nervousness and irritability to the baby.

The metabolism of caffeine, that is, the body's response to caffeine consumption in babies, is slower than in its mother, which means that if the mother consumes a large amount of caffeine, that is, more of 10 cups, this is accumulating in the baby's body. Better to consume decaffeinated.
