How to beat post delivery STRESS?

Holding your child for the first time is such a delightful experience that can't be expressed in words. But this experience comes with lots of responsibility and challenges as taking care of little one is not a easy task. And sometimes it gets so difficult that you hardly find time for yourself. And this might be one major reason that most of the new moms are going into depression. We call it Postpartum depression.

On the other hand it is important to be happy and energetic to take care of your little one as mother's feeling affect baby too. So let's deal with this stress and don't let this stress interfere into your utmost happy moments.

Here I am sharing some tips to manage postpartum depression which I found it useful in my case, hope you find the same.

Don't forget to take me time: Remember mothers who take break for herself take care of their child more effectively than those who don't take break. So whenever you get even a little time sleep or just close your eyes or may be a cup of coffee will help you to relax.

Do things that pleases you : Even if you get a little longer time only on weekends, do those things that pleases you may be like getting a massage, visiting parlor or doing your hobby things. All this things will relax your mind and make you ready for your busy schedule.

Don't feel shy in asking help - There is nothing to feel shy in asking help from your family members. So many things we need learn and  look after when baby comes in your life. And your family is there for you to help you out.

Share with your partner : The early months after a baby arrives test how strong your relationship is. Spend some time together, take care of baby together and share responsibility together. All these will give you much needed support and love.

Eat healthy stay healthy : If you are breastfeeding mom you should intake nutritious diet for yourself and for your baby . Even if you are not breastfeeding your child still you need to eat nutritious food because you have undergone same physical and mental stress in giving birth to the little one like others.

Short duration exercise : After taking permission from your doctor start walking for short period. It will help in recovering your body and will boost your energy too. And slowly try different exercises.

Don't be a supermom : It's completely OK if your house is little messy, floor needs a mop or pile of clothes are there for washing. Keep your baby on priority and then yourself. Your body too need relaxation at least for one and half months.

Baby's health : If you come across any baby's health issue or any other thing instead of net surfing about it, consult doctor and clear out things. It will really save you from unnecessary stress.

If you have found the above ways beneficial in your case too, do let me know. And if you have any other stress buster idea share with me and other new moms.
