Deciding menu for our three meal that to everyday is not an easy task anymore. As from kids to elders everyone has become so picky. Keeping that in mind I am here with most common breakfast recipe chilla. It has many varieties, I have just twisted one of its variety that is kala chana chilla. 

Lets start, in between you will discover the twist of the recipe.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time : 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Soaked kala chana/ black chickpeas
Besan/ Gram flour
Sliced ginger
Garlic cloves
One chopped onion
One chopped tomato (seedless)
Masala (jeera powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper)
Salt to taste

How to make kala chana chilla

1. Put kala chana garlic and ginger in the grinder. But don't make paste just coarse grind it. And this this twist. Grinding coarsely will give better taste and it becomes easy for young kids to eat it well.

2. Put it bowl and add all other ingredients and mix it well with the help of water.

3. Consistency neither should be thin nor thick. 

4. Heat some oil in pan and pour small portion of batter on the pan.

5. Cook till both the sides get golden brown.

6. You can either enjoy it as it is or cut it small portion.

7. I found it best with hot chai.

You can make it in breakfast or evening snacks. It will easily get its place in you weight loss diet menu too. Try it out and share your experience.
