Every would be mommies in their second trimester wait to feel  their baby inside her womb. And that feeling is so special that can't be described in words. So here are few information that might answer few of your question.


In which month baby movement can be felt?
Baby movement can be felt between 16 to 25 weeks. During first pregnancy women may not feel baby movement until the end of 25 week but by the second pregnancy baby movement can be felt as early as 13 week.

What quickening means during pregnancy period?
The baby's first movement is called quickening and it's often described as flutters.

How does the first movement of baby feel like?
Pregnant women describe their first baby movement as butterflies, nervous twitches or popping popcorn.

When should you start counting your baby kicks?
You can start counting your baby kicks in third trimester or at 28 weeks. Doctors recommend to start it at 24-26 weeks if you have a high risk in pregnancy.

How many baby kicks in the womb considered normal?
Gynecologist believe that healthy babies take less than two hours for ten kicks.

When should you call doctor?
If your baby taking more than two hours for ten kicks, DON'T DELAY call your doctor. 

Do babies sleep in the womb?
Like newborn, fetuses spend most of their time sleeping. During 32 weeks baby sleeps around 90 to 95 percent of the day.

Why kicks count are so important in pregnancy?
A mother should always keep a count on her baby's kick. Because changing in babies movement pattern may indicate potential problem with her pregnancy.
